Future trends in global beverages

Demand for sugar-free drinks is on the rise globally due to a growing number of health problems and increasing awareness of the negative health effects of sugar. The sugar-free beverage market is expected to continue to grow in the coming years as consumers seek healthier options.

The market for sugar-free alternatives in fruit juices, teas and sports drinks is also growing. This is clear from the growing number of products launched by major beverage companies in the sugar-free beverage space.

The current trend of reducing sugar is not only in Europe and the United States, it is also a global trend. Many countries, including Mexico and the European Union, have imposed sugar taxes on sugary drinks to discourage sucrose consumption and promote healthier choices. As a result, the sugar-free beverage market is expected to continue to grow and innovate to meet consumer demand for healthy beverages.

According to a report by Grand View Research, the global sugar-free beverage market will reach $18.5 billion by 2020 and is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.3% between 2021 and 2028. This increase is due to consumers' increasing preference for healthier beverages, as well as the current offerings of sugar-free beverages in a variety of flavors and categories.

There is also a growing appreciation for natural sweeteners, such as stevia and momorin, which are seen as a more natural and healthier alternative to traditional artificial sweeteners such as aspartame and saccharin.

Stevia is a natural product extracted from plants. Its components vary in size, price and taste. Xinghuagreen is committed to working with Chinese food and beverage enterprises to jointly create products with stevia side as C-position and provide stevia solutions under the trend of sugar reduction.
